Homecoming

I can't wait, just a few days and I'll be eating my mum's food. I miss my friends and I can't wait to see them. All of them gathered and did a big homecoming party for me. This has been the longest time that I've been away from my family and friends and I'm just thrilled to see them.

My sisters are going to pick me up with my father at the airport and then we're going for lunch in a restaurant. Half of my relatives will be there. I haven't seen them for a long time so they'll probably all have gifts!

I'm just kidding, I'm staying here for another 7 months :) enjoy home my friends and come back soon!

Winter in the US

Everybody is going home and a small number of us are staying. I don't think it will be a bad experience. The thing that I hope for the most is finding a job over the month of December. If I could go to Chicago or Washington to visit my relatives that would be the best thing ever. Some of us will spend 10 months in Lima, so it would be great if we could spend December somewhere else. Working on a beach in Miami, at a camp in Los Angeles or in a school in Atlanta, doesn't matter, just as long as we experience the new culture, meet new people and search for new opportunities in life we won't complain.

We still hope to be at Times square at midnight of New years eve, but even if it's not possible, we can dream right? :)

UNOH Soccer (It's Football!!!)

Women's and Men's soccer at UNOH are both in the conference tournament and as the girls fought their way to finals, guys still have to play semi-finals against Aquinas. A big few weeks are in front of the Racers Soccer program and everybody hopes that they will make UNOH and Lima proud by winning and going to the national tournament.

As this is the first year of the program, a big CONGRATULATIONS is due to the girls that have did so good and are still doing incredible with hopes of going all the was. Well done!
